I blame my kids for this. Over the past few years I find myself watching more and more things on YouTube rather than on TV, and even then, my TV watching is mainly streaming channels now.

So, let's share those gems you have come across on YouTube. The links should be for channels i.e. people who post regular content. My top ones are:

Mighty Car Mods - enjoyable, daft, informative, fun. Love it.

 

Colin Furze - off his nut, but love his skills, creativity and sense of fun.

+1 for Thunderf00t and Big Clive

Thunderf00t can sometimes be a bit too abrasive, especially with his 'Why people laugh at creationists' videos (I'm not one for religion, personally, but I subscribe to live and let live..) but his Kickstarter debunks are great and are pretty much solely the reason I watch his stuff.

As for Big Clive, I know absolutely zero about electronics, what a capacative dropper is, or how to value a resistor, etc, but his videos are still strangely entertaining.

 

If you're interested in game design, I'd recommend Game Maker's Toolkit* and Adam Millard - The Architect of Games*

If you care about politics in the gaming industry, my votes go to Jim Sterling and Upper Echelon Gamers

For actual politics (or the mockery thereof), all I have is Shoe0nHead and Jonathan Pie

Artistic? Jazza (Formerly Draw with Jazza, but he's branched out significantly) and Ace of Clay*. Also Midwinter Minis for easy breakdowns of painting miniature models (specifically Warhammer so far, but I reckon they'll branch out)

Random gaming entertainment? UpIsNotJump, SovietWomble*

Random non-gaming entertainment? TheOdd1sOut, Jaiden Animations, Life of Boris, h3h3Productions and iDubbbzTV

The Lock Picking Lawyer - He picks locks, explains about locks and explains about their flaws. Just interesting and someone who is very good at their craft.

Tom Scott - Covers interesting things, like computing, places and facts. Just has a nice way about him.

Various FailRace Forza Horizon 4 videos - His Survive the Hunt, Hunt the survivors and historic races are just fun.

SortedFood - Interesting food challenges

Jay Foreman - In his own words "Very silly educational videos". Not many unfortunately but very interesting.

 

Then various videos related to games, depending on what I am playing, dash cam channels are a bit of a weak spot of mine and finally Mock the Week clips
