If ever I am called to look at a PC with sound problems I like to play a bit of music that is quite loud or heavy so that it can be heard above the sound of kids in the room. The bits of music in the 'Sample music' folder is to quiet to hear. I know if I log on as manager I will get my own music but I try not to do that unless I have to as the issue could be related to the user.

Is there anyway I can force a tune into everyone's music folder so that I can always access it when testing?

Why wouldn't you just store it on a network share? Seems a bit of a waste of time faffing about with gpo and what have you when you can just stick it in a share.

Trouble is I have to go about 3 folders deep before I get to an area where someone won't delete the file. If it's accessible by students someone will delete it.

Create a folder in a public area and set permissions so that only appropriate people can write to it, but everyone can browse to it and read from it.

Damn! Ninja'd!

I normally ask the teacher to get the class to be quiet then use the sample music.

In Windows 7 it has Mr Scruff and that one isnt quiet!

Or i just use the volume as it normally makes a noise when full volume!
