admars Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 ! and breath, relax, now that's done can get excited about Christmas Missus and I loved it , huge sigh of relief as it ended, pretty sure no cinema has ever seen so many grown men trying not to cry 1
Norphy Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Went to see it last night. It was... alright, I suppose. I enjoyed it for the most part but it did feel like it was dragging on a bit. Didn’t help that Odeon’s so called premium seats were rock hard and incredibly uncomfortable. I suspect I’m probably not in the target audience for this any more...
superatticman Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Went to see it earlier. Mildly impressed. Thought the pacing of the film too fast and the action simply too frantic. Shades of the prequels with too much going on on the screen. Maybe that's what the kids like these days??? I actually think this trilogy has slowly declined since a really promising start with the Force Awakens. That first movie managed to engage the audience with the characters. You were really rooting for them throughout. Think this fell away somewhat towards the end.
admars Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 saw it again today, sort of wish I hadn't :(sad to say not so good 2nd time, I enjoyed it, but wasn't amazed, I guess the relief that it wasn't as bad as Ep8 and rose tinted glasses weren't there :(Found myself agreeing with the negative comments
