GTX Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 Hey guys. Trying to get ideas how to mount our meeting room PC to the wall. The only way i can think of doing it is with a cage but its a little overkill. This could do it if i remove the front door. Anyone got a better way of doing this that isn't going to cost more than the blood of my first born child? If not, got a cost effective supplier you use?

ShellfishClive Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 Maybe you could put a shelf up with lips so it doesn't get pushed off? I've never heard of a wall mount of a PC, if you get a TV one make sure it can hold the amount of weight you're putting on it.

PD1279 Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 I would change for a NUC or Vesa based PC and screw the mount that comes with it to the wall. Much easier. Or better still Display over Network cabling, then PC can be in your room and fully protected - depends really what it is being used for. If staff need access to it the putting it in cage or high shelf won't help you.

Cheap and Cheerful. I have done the above without the shelf or padlock. Just screw the side of the case to the wall. Works better with smaller PCs obviously.
