Does anyone find Gmail non-responsive sometimes?

Since we moved to the new UI for Gmail we are finding that it is sometimes unresponsive. An email comes in and you click on it but the view doesnt change to the new email. Sometimes moving from one email to another does not work. Reloading Gmail fixes the issue.

 

Is it us or do others find the same?

Yep have the same issue from time to time since the new UI. Like you said a refresh fixes it.

Can't say I've noticed that, but we have noticed that IE has noticeable problems with the new UI. Some of the 'Material Design' elements don't work all that well, and line-wrapping can go funny, leading to massively wide scrollbars. Edge, Chrome and FF all cope okay, though.

I should clarify that this happens when using Chrome. We don't tend to use any other browsers.

Since the interface upgrade it seems a bit laggy refreshig mail.

We only use Smoothwall for content filtering. Are you referring to using Smoothwall as a Firewall? Our Firewall is provided by LGfL.

It was the filter that needed the changes.

Did you just create a custom allow category or did you have to whitelist?

We have had a few issues with Adblockplus which seems to be linked to a recent bug: https://issues.adblockplus.org/ticket/7065 , fixed in 3.4.2
