aleach2 Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Two of our client Schools use Clevertouch solely and they really like them (around 100 boards in total). The latest version of Firmware is very good and has some really good features. The MDM tool for the boards needs a bit of love and I believe Clevertouch know this and are working on it with the supplier. As for support, I have never had any issues. Always received really good and timely support when going through the support page on Clevertouch's website. 2

I'll echo this, its our standard for board/meeting rooms in our company now after excellent service and support from the team here. Whilst I cannot rave about the EduContent on them when sold in the Edu version than commerical they are good products and support has been excellent. Constructive Criticism has been well received and several things we suggested have made it to the product. Only remaining niggle is firmware updates / code updates for the TV itself you have to request, support are very quick to get that to you however but would be nice to be able to be a bit more self service. The Android has got the auto update on it now which is nice once its pulled to a newer version 2
Progress Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 well we wont be using these ones... What you don't want to see when your new 65" screens are being delivered...

woody Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Looks like we will be going for 4 65" interactive screens to refit a performing arts block that was flooded. As mentioned much earlier in the thread, I am still looking at moving the touch to the teacher device with wireless projection to the screen, but at the moment a decent 'commercial' 75" screen or even a 65" 4k is not that much cheaper than a 65" 4k touch with the 5 year warranty as well. Plus the touch ones tend to have a freeze on the remote, something we would need if we were cloning the display of the teacher device. I'm looking at the M-Touch which is I believe a budget version of the Clevertouch and is coming in just under £1500 ex VAT. Has anybody got experience of these, or could anybody recommend an alternative in that price bracket?

Fraserb82 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Hi everyone, Sorry for hijacking this post, but I was hoping someone could be off some assistance. We are looking at a number of MDMs to help manage 72 new Promethean V5 panels. Has anyone managed to get an MDM such as Radix working? We are having some problems, could be smoothwall, could be firewall. But I'd like to chat to anyone with experience with these issues. The two we are looking at are Airwatch and Radix Viso. Radix Viso being the preferred one. Cheers
mavhc Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 With Smart's new stupid licencing system I can't be bothered buying Smartboards any more, so what's the cheapest 65" 4k screen with good software? https://www.avpartsmaster.co.uk/p-67495-benq-rp653k-65-4k-ultra-hd-android-os-interactive-touch-screen-9hf3stkre1.aspx £1375 with Oktopus software, never heard of it, plus bad spelling is always annoying. 1
christhetech Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 I'm sticking with our new G-Touch 4K screens. They may not be quite as cheap as the BenQ ones that you have found, but the Spark II software included with them is super intuitive and our teaching staff loved them from the second that they started using them. They are currently running a promo on multiple purchases too. Purchase 4 screens and get the 5th one free.
BenQ_Royce Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 we've been working with Oktopus's developers for a number of years, and a key benefit is that it's a third party product that is constantly developing. ie quick turnaround of 4k support, opening native Smart files, all being done outside of BenQ's own hardware roadmap, and confidence that it will be supported for years to come. we have our own ezwrite software and InstaQShare wireless presentation software that's built into the boards. having seen many of the options available I believe we found a strong software partner to work with.
zaremax Posted January 20, 2019 Posted January 20, 2019 Thanks. I'm the one working on the MDM integration so anything you want to see, or frustrations please PM me! Thanks Hi, i've just posted new post regarding Clevertouch MDM, would you be able to help me out? I'll message you what i need and what is the issue.
