Good domain registrar? (Personal/home question)

Does anyone have any recommendations for domain registrars?

 

Just looking at registering a personal co.uk domain name at the moment (so hosting not needed, yet!).

I use LCN

We use https://www.gandi.net/en for a lot of domains, they are not the cheapest but they are close enough and support 2FA.

I moved to use Namecheap and been great and have 2FA

I use Vidahost for loads of different domains, work, personal, external customers and they've been brilliant. They've just been taken over by tsohost so I have yet to see what their customer service is like.

They have been a brand, but they've now essentially ceased to exist in their own right.

Vidahost and TSOHost were both brands of Paragon Internet, but now it's just the TSOHost brand. However, Paragon are now ultimately owned by GoDaddy, unfortunately

 

I now use Krystal.

No problems with Namecheap for me either - really good pricing for the renewals I needed, less than half what Fasthosts or 1&1 were asking.
