Am going to wait for the ISO to be available on VLSC. You’ll have to let us know how deployment goes.
DJ-1701 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 It appears the ADK was updated yesterday in case anyone using MDT wants to download that ready for the VLSC ISO next week. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/get-started/adk-install
sted Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 be aware if like me your device (probably mainly laptops) has dual videocards you may be sol for now it just wont install asks me to uninstall an app thats a hardware feature
mowgli82 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Mine appeared on WSUS last night in the upgrades Category
mavhc Posted May 1, 2018 Author Posted May 1, 2018 Upgraded a Dell laptop, using the Win10 that came with it, from 1709 to 1803, now Edge won't stop anything, no web page will load, also a pdf doesn't display, and then you can't exit it
ICT_GUY Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 It failed to install on 95% on my network. Its so bugged I had to decline it as PCs were stuck in a loop trying to get it to install.

angrycomputingteacher Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I'm just about to create a golden image for it
ass17 Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Be aware that it doesn’t carry over RSAT tools so at the mo I’ve re-installed 1709 until 1803 is out.
alfatec Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I thought Microsoft stated that beginning with 1709 any feature updates would not reinstaall any apps that had been removed. I upgraded a 1709 workstation to 1803 this morning using windows update from WSUS and although everything works fine, even the old default profile, start menu, redirected desktop etc, it reinstalled a load of apps back on like Xbox, store, people etc. Anybody else seen this?

The new W10 doesn’t support a flagship bit of hardware from MS themselves? Just... lol
BOOT Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Not impressed. Not much of an improvement... and the Start Menu still doesn't work.
ICT_GUY Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Please elaborate. We have impero and 1803 won't install at the moment and we are getting black screens randomly on client machines.
Liam Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 For anyone impatient like me https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
mavhc Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 Please elaborate. We have impero and 1803 won't install at the moment and we are getting black screens randomly on client machines. Have to exclude a load of stuff on impero server, tools, injection exclusions: runtimebroker.exe, browser_broker.exe were the 2 new things for 1803, dwm.exe, constant.exe, werfault.exe, fontdrvhost.exe, dllhost.exe for earlier stuff 2
alfatec Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 We are also experiencing random black screens on 1709. This has only recently started so not sure if it is the recent Impero update or recent cumulative update for April.
Arthur Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 We are also experiencing random black screens on 1709. This has only recently started so not sure if it is the recent Impero update or recent cumulative update for April. I've also noticed UWP apps like Photos and Paint 3D crashing as soon as the are run on some of our PCs running Windows 10 v1703 with the recent April CU and v6.3.72 of the Impero client. The crashing stops as soon as the EXE is added to the injection exclusions list.
