Block settings, and do the "only show XYZ" on cpanel :p Then add in bits you want, sound/printers etc etc

Nope, they're user based.

 

UC -> Policies -> Admin Temp -> Control Panel -> Show only specified Control Panel items Enabled "insert list"

Easiest way is applocker linked to student group etc (if it's just the one) as it's a metroy app :p

 

You can faff around in regkey abuse etc but prefer supported ways :p

Volume licensing / EES?

 

The only issue with not paying is that you're stuck with the Pro edition. :(

 

Then how are you connecting them with CALs etc to manage them in the first place? :p Or using Office/365 without a desktop pack?

 

If you're buying CALs/SQL licenses etc etc all sepeately anyway you'll be paying more than a standard desktop pack

Buy a CAL to connect to server, done. Office licence lasts for 10 years, so 3 times cheaper. Office365 is free.
