I was listening to a news piece on the radio about this this morning. The announcer said something along the lines of “the Royal Mint has announced 26 new coins, celebrating the A-Z of Britishness. Everything from Cricket to Queuing has been included”.

 

I thought, wait a minute...

I don't think I've seen somebody in a mackintosh since my grandparents when I was about six..

 

Also X just stinks of 'We needed an X, and Xylophone was too obvious.' lmao. We could go with 'Xenophobia'? We've always been pretty good at that.

I, O and Y are pretty poor, too. But overall I like the idea.

 

If we were going to go with the things we're known for worldwide, it'd probably be Asbos, Boris Johnson, Chavs, Drinking excessively in Magaluf....

This is literally the first time I've encountered these. I didn't know they existed. I'm surprised my OH hasn't been collecting them: she'd love them.
