speckytecky Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 In the past I'd bought 32GB Toshibas but had a couple of data loss disasters and other issues with them so Mike at Higate recommended and supplied 32GB Duracell devices which were both reasonably priced and also do the job with Bitlocker superbly. I've not tried them with Macs.

I've not tried them with Macs. Thanks bitlocker doesn’t work with Mac unless you buy a software which would work out expensive
AngryITGuy Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 We have always used the Integral Dual range of encrypted memory pens as they have two passwords and are Mac compatible. We have a handful of iStorage devices, some flash drives some 2.5" HDDs and a couple of high capacity 3.5" drives. They are a little expensive, but will work on anything with a USB port as they are hardware encrypted, not software. You can also give them an admin password for when your staff loose/forget their codes. We've been using them for over 2 years now.

We issued to all staff about 3 years ago and so far no failures and zero complaints (cue knock on the door...). We get staff to put their password in a sealed envelope in the safe in case they forget.

Once the pin has been entered it looks like a regular USB stick to any PC/Mac/Thin Client/Chromebook/Scanner/Printer etc. They have a good security rating. However they are expensive and can break so my preference is: RDS (so data doesn't leave site) --> Encrypted Laptop (using offline files so that data is backed up) --> Datashur USB Stick.
