Normally get something new about once a month and costs a few £s. Have got a pair of wireless headphones £5, 100 odd piece screwdriver set £9 Hiking/Fishing windproof hood thing £3.50 on order.

Tried learning to play it with Rocksmith, got over 100 hours playing with that. I haven't a clue what brands etc are good, and if it's worth splashing out on or getting a cheapish one. Used to have a Yamaha fretless bass -fantastic instrument, but not good enough to cover up how carp I was. Sold it on when baby son came along, and I realised that I hadn't had time to play it in well over a year... 1

I've had stuff from Ali in 8 days, most within 3 weeks, some a bit longer. I usually waiting for about 20 orders from them. It's like Christmas every day when the postman arrives.

They've finally fixed it so i can use coupons and promotions. Starting to collect coins now. Cant wait to get the flat lease paid of and then im buying myself a nice holiday. Had to stop myself - still got massive DIY jobs to pay for, two cars to repair, a set of tyres to buy, and need to re-accumulate some savings!

I can't recommend Yamaha enough. The one and only bass I own is the bass I started out on, an RBX 170, which at the time was the cheapest bass of their cheapest range. I've had it for years now and I've had very few problems with it, and it's solidly built. Great sound, too! 1

Had to stop myself - still got massive DIY jobs to pay for, two cars to repair, a set of tyres to buy, and need to re-accumulate some savings! personally id hang fire on psvr there a slightly newer version being rolled out that supports 4k/hdr passthrough to your tv as currently if you have a 4k/hdr (and ps4 non pro supports hdr and i think 4k for streaming) you would have to unplug the psvr to take advantage of it then plug it back in to use the vr. i believe there are also a few other minor improvements (which is why the v1 is now cheap)
flyinghaggis Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) I keep feeling tempted by Playstation VR but having spent a bit of time playing it at my mates I'm going to give it a miss for now. The resolution of the headset feels too low and pixelated, the field of view is narrow and the head/move controller tracking with the camera is kind of janky. It's not helped by the fact that the PS4 really isn't powerful enough IMO to drive VR games in terms of the CPU nor the GPU. It's a pretty epic experience playing games in VR but the technology isn't quite there yet as far as I'm concerned. Edited December 13, 2017 by flyinghaggis

2ilent8cho Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I love my PS VR, got it 14 months ago, i did have a small spot of not using it but that was when i had played most the games i had wanted. Seems to be more and more coming out now and its been used a lot again. I don't notice the lower resolutions as i just get immersed in the world so much.

jhothersall Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I got myself a Apple Watch Series 3 got it mid Nov at Very.com. Was the 42mm one was meant to be £359, then got 20% cashback so was £71.80 off and used Quidco that was another £35.80 back too. Cost me £251.30 in total and was cheaper than the series 2. Now have been using it since then, and did have a dead purple pixel on it, so got another from Apple and been great since. Had the first one 3 days and did manage to scratch it (very slightly) so the replacement have kept a screen protector on. I do like it and the battery is great can last me 2 days, it is great just need to get all the App sorted and a bit of a shame Google have pulled support for certain apps like Maps :-/

The controllers are now included too.
