chinesewhispers Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 The only change that has happened recently has been the Chrome update to 62. Now, lots of teachers are reporting significant speed issues using the interface itself, not necessarily loading pages, but entering a mark in a register can take 20 seconds or more!? Is anybody else in a similar situation?
6Foot2 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 I have just dealt with a member of staff who was complaining about slow registration/registration not working at all in both Internet Explorer 11, and Google Chrome 61 for the past two days. After checking with her again just now it appears that the issue has cleared up by itself [same stations/same user logged on] Odd!
chinesewhispers Posted November 1, 2017 Author Posted November 1, 2017 Bromcom have told me a fix is required, so if anyone else is having problems (seems to be intermittent), this might be good news. Just hope it doesn't take too long as it is causing massive issues.

Bromcom_John Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 We are aware that upon upgrade to Chrome 62 there does appear to be an issue with registration speed. The team are working on it now and we should have it resolved for you shortly. 1

chinesewhispers Posted November 3, 2017 Author Posted November 3, 2017 There seemed to be more positive feedback today regarding registers, thanks John, I'll let you know if there are any further issues brought to my attention.
