I was thinking that too. The old NM won a national prize for telephony so it's not entirely surprising that he might have moved on to better things. As you say, I think the NM has moved on to better things, but judging by the state of the website I wonder if the tech just left in a hurry after the NM went? I might apply myself just for the experience - other commitments make it hard to work anything but term time only - but you never know, they could be flexible. I already work for the same LEA and they seem fine - I presume there are separate Admin and Curriculum networks as there are in my two schools - if so, you never need to touch SIMS again as admin stuff is all done (badly in my opinion) by the LEA

Just because i am younger doesn't mean i should be getting any less than you for the same job. The age comes into it due to experience. It usually requires some years of experience in IT to get a job on that sort of pay.
