Pixl edge + linking with google

I'm testing out pixl edges capability to link accounts with google now that I've got g suite doing SSO via Azure AD, however I'm hitting a snag with google chrome.

 

If i log a student in, open up pixl edge in internet explorer and click login with google, i enter the email address, watch the redirect do its thing, and it sits on a white screen....if i close that and click "login with google" again away it goes straight into their account. No password required.

 

If i do the same thing in chrome the redirect does its thing then i get a box pop up saying "Sorry we were unable to log you on via google, reason: Framework\Errors\InvalidRequestException - Invalid State" which appears to give me nothing useful via search and nothing useful. If i close that and click Login with google again it just pops up with that error every time. EDIT: Managed to see another error from chrome after the redirect "The requested URL was not found on this server"

 

Anyone else got this working?

 

Still frustrating that it would require each student to pair their accounts themselves, but if they only ever have to login with that horrific username and password pixl gives them once it would be a massive time saver for them and us.

Unfortunately not, I stopped looking into it and we've ended up telling all the kids not to bother changing their passwords. We store an export of all the kids logins on a staff shared area so that staff can help them with passwords. They also get a label to stick in their planners with the password on, and use their emails as their username.

 

The amount of time we were having to spend helping kids with passwords and staff trying to log them in during pixl sessions was horrific. Now that their username is their email and their password never changes it's a LOT easier, but i do wish i could get the SSO working with google account linking.
