Hi @Jawloms - sorry, it's almost complete but still a few bits in final testing that needed to be addressed.

 

I share everyone's frustration at not getting it released sooner, but we are really mindful of not introducing issues for anyone with rushed out releases.

 

As soon as it's ready to go ( imminent) I will post news on here ( and do a small conga round the car park [emoji322]).

Very excited to see this release. We are due to purchase a monitoring solution this year and this looks ideal!

Final build in test, expect to release next week. Sorry, i know it's taken longer than hoped.

 

Here is an example screenshot from today showing our new Activity View - as you can see you get all activity condensed into a single summary for any device or user over a selected time period. Naturally you can do the same for a dept or group of users too.

Final release validation with a few customers today just to ensure we have tested on a good mixture of sites and hopefully new 4.5 keys will be issued to everyone tomorrow ready for release.

I have been fortunate to get access to 4.5 a day early and it looks amazing. Not had chance to fully test all the features as yet but some cool features on first inspection include:

 

Bookmarks feature on departments you frequently use.

Activity monitor (excellent)

CPU / Memory performance in explorer view.

Logon control (no reason to have userlock anymore)

 

I'll report back after further use over the next few days but I must say it is great work once again from the NetSupport team but have listened to what the customers want. Don't forget to contact NetSupport if you feel there is a feature you would like to see

Looking really good, nothing negative reported from test installs with select customers, so keys being sent out today.

 

Sure we will have a few tweaks to issue after release but everyone can expect their new licence keys today (needed for 4.5).

Yep, I've just done the 4.5 upgrade too - flew through the process, nothing nasty or tricky, client consoles update themselves seamlessly - new features all work. What more can be said lol.

A complete opposite end of the spectrum to the experiences suffered from using Impero previously!

That’s great to hear, and thanks for sharing. It’s impossible to test every scenario and I expect we will have bits to improve but we have certainly focused on ensuring the update experience is as smooth as possible.

I have done a brief video / Screencam today covering all the main changes in DNA 4.50, so while you are waiting for keys etc, you can have a watch and see whats included. Not my finest piece of work, but went for speed to produce over quality

Forgot to ask. Can we wake PC's over VLAN's now?

I think as best i know (and that's quite limited) if your VLAN can receive UDP packets then yes it should work, if it can't then likely not.
