newpersn Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Just wondered who do you use for you computer suppliers? We are looking round this year to replace one of our rooms and wondered who you use for your computers.
Asgard Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Stone Computers [emoji106] have used them for years However this HP trade-up deal looks interesting - https://hp.tradeuptohp.com/gb/en/pages/tradein/home 1
DJ-1701 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Well the main ones I have gone to are the following. - ICT Direct @ICTDirect_Dave - VeryPC @VeryPC_Ross - Insight - Stone Computers 3
HBPS Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 BT Business Direct and Aspen Solutions aspen are great for refurbs.
RLR Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 We mainly use AMC computer supplies: Amc Computer Supplies
HTCPCP Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 We used to purchased Zoostorm machines, now its mostly HP or Lenovo (with the occasional Hell thrown in simply because they come in cheapest). We tend to use UKZones, moved to them a few years ago, having tracked down our old misco account manager, after having 3 account managers in 3 months! LinkedIn is a wonderful thing!
LeMarchand Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Well the main ones I have gone to are the following. - ICT Direct @ICTDirect_Dave - VeryPC @VeryPC_Ross Ditto these, depending on need/budget, but we always get 3 quotes for large purchases including whoever came close/won last time or happens to ring at the time. 2
Norphy Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I've just given a large order to European Electronique, they've been excellent so far.
DJ-1701 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I've just given a large order to European Electronique, they've been excellent so far. @Boredguy got a server from them a while ago, good price at the time (well, of course, that is why he went with them ). I remember when the kit turned up, including extra drives, not preassembled even though it was checked that it would be. An amusing phone call later they did pick up the equipment and resend out all setup.
Fazza Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Recently we have used VeryPC and NSOptimum as they both have available cases with a rear security grill you lock (or screw in to place) to stop the 'little rascals' unplugging any of the cables. 1
