  1. Hi @Garacesh We (VeryPC) are a partner with Promethean and we may be able to help! I will share some information to you via private message
  2. Hi @SimonL. We can offer installations nationwide and we will be more than happy to provide you a quote. I'll drop you a PM so we can discuss further
  3. Hello @petben, Currently, we have the S400 7th generation OPS, which can run 4K at 60HZ. As all our units here at VeryPC the S400 is fully customisable. I'll drop you a DM so we can discuss pricing. Ross
  4. @TwistedHelixis Is it the 6000 series you are referring to? If so, the main difference between the two interactive flat panels is the type of technology they use for the touch. The 6000 series uses something called DVIT (Digital Vision Touch) This technology allows the pen ID. Essentially you can pick up the black pen and it knows its black, pick up the red pen and it knows its red (Without selecting anything within SMART notebook) Teachers will love this feature if they've had past experience with interactive whiteboards… The technology of the MX users is infrared, perfectly fine for most classroom environments, people will argue it's an old technology now.. With this said, the MX does have some really good positives. It's cheaper (But, we do have some good deals on the SMART 6265) Comes with a wall bracket included in the box 10 points of touch Does come with VGA for the legacy devices.. Here is a EDU display comparison chart we've put together. 😊
  5. Hello @BFCIT, Here at VeryPC we offer something called an OPS unit. It instantly converts your big screen into a giant all-in-one Windows PC. The Open Pluggable Specification is the industry standard for connecting computer devices to large flat panel/interactive displays via a single universal internal slot. The majority of the leading manufacturers from the likes of SMART,BenQ,NEC and Promethean (Just to name a few) Do have an OPS slot.. I'll send you a PM over with some more information on the OPS.. Ross
  6. Hi @MattG92 I would love to help. I’ve got a few ideas that will work. I'll drop you a PM with my contact details on. Many thanks, Ross
  7. Hello maxrebo Thanks for posting. I guess the question Is, what's making you move away from Activinspire? I would definitely suggest looking at Promethean as an offering on the interactive flat panels if you haven't already. Because you are using Promethean already within the school, Promethean will be very very keen to keep you as a customer and support you on your project to replace the old IWB’s. The one big positive is, with Activinspire there are no subscription costs, and it looks like it’s going to stay that way, no talks of making it into an annual subscription or charging for it in any shape or form… And as NotSoFast mentioned I would definitely take a look at Classflow. We have regular meetings with Promethean as we are a Gold partner and from the last meeting we had with them there's more integration with Activinspire and Classflow making the collaboration a lot easier than when it was first launched. In the past, I've heard teachers using the common file format to open their lessons from different types of interactive software, but they never truly open in the way they should, without some major editing from the teachers which is time-consuming. Happy to help in any way I can, pricing, demonstrations you name it! Even feel free to come over to our demo facility if you're near Sheffield We have all the latest and greatest interactive technology on hand. Ta, Ross
  8. @paulellam, more then happy to help here if you need assistants? after all, it is the festive period
  9. Morning @BJG Good news, I’ve managed to get the warranty extended on this one. It wasn’t easy as we didn’t supply you the hardware, but I got there in the end after a few phone calls and a few nicely worded emails. Result! I’ll PM you with the finer details.. Ta, Ross
  10. Good morning @BJG I’m pretty confident that it should be a five year warranty with the E70! In the days of Steljes, these guys were automatically registering the warranty from 3 to 5 years. So you should be covered. I’m happy to help if you can send me the serial number on PM? Weirdly enough, I’ve had something like this with @hallb15 we got it sorted ...
  11. Hello All, here is a pretty useful brief that provides a summary of the functional differentiations you can expect to see when using SLS software on SMART interactive displays versus third party offerings. Hope this helps and have a good weekend. Ross
  12. @talksr Hopefully I can help. I would definitely recommend the SMART hardware, the SPNL- 6265 is a fantastic bit of gear, however, I understand that budgets can be extremely tight, for that reason we do offer a variety of manufactures at different price points. BenQ are extremely competitive on their new range. RP653K and RP704K are really competitive for a 4K IFP. SMART, unfortunately, don't have an entry-level panel, as the 4000 series has gone EOL now!...
  13. Hi @spr thanks for contributing to EduGeek. If you’d like an off board, vendor neutral chat through pricing, pros, and cons of various manufacturers’ options I’d be delighted to help
  14. Thank you very much for the recommendation @sparkeh! Hello @hkazi We are based in Sheffield and offer national installations to businesses and Schools.
