pubgrub277 Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 I'm waiting for this to descend into the debate of how brown/black the toast should be. I often feel repulsed by the colour of a co workers *tea *vaguely brown, milky hot water where it hasn't been allowed to brew.

Garacesh Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 I'm waiting for this to descend into the debate of how brown/black the toast should be. And by "waiting", you mean "starting" Fourth column, obviously.
Garacesh Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Perhaps @SlicedBread has an opinion on this topic? Last Activity: 10th February 2014 12:20 PM Maybe not, 'eh?
spacebar Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 I can only handle three at most, but will do a whole tube of Pringles or packet of biscuits.
Theory Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 I can eat a loaf y'know, they don't call me Loaf eater Larry for nothing
siuko Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 but will do a whole tube of Pringles or packet of biscuits. Now this thread is sooooo going off topic lol
Bedders Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Anything from the 3rd, 4th or 5th columns - I'm not particularly fussy!
mikeprice Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 2nd or 3rd column - as long as it is hot enough to melt the butter 1
6Foot2 Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Any of the columns are fine, preference for those toward the right-hand side, and plenty of them with lots of butter and marmalade/lime marmalade/peanut butter/strawberry jam Yum!
X-13 Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Anyway, I woke up very hungry and have just had six slices of toast (with thick cut marmalade) but now feel a bit guilty. Should I be? Is there an acceptable toast limit or as long as the bread packet is open it's ok? There's an easy test. Once you're done, are you still hungry. If yes, not enough. If no, that's enough. ...if you feel sick, too much.

X-13 Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Saying that though, since BETT I've only had one pizza! Damn, that pizza has lasted a while... [emoji14] 2
jthompson Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Guilty admission here: I pre-heat my toaster before the first rounds go in, otherwise I only get a column 3 when I'm after a column 4. I save lots of energy by not pre-heating the oven, though (yet to convince my OH on that one).
Snoochieboochies Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 You can never have too much toast. Marmalade however is the Devils food and should be avoided at all costs.
