About Snoochieboochies

  1. i'm all for working from home. Then i wouldn't need to get out of bed to do my job.
  2. I agree, it's incredibly stupid. But that doesn't mean that it didn't happen. And YES it is because of idiots pandering to identity politics that things like this happen. Go take a look at the mess that Marvel comics is in right now. Manga pretty much stole all of their business because they ignore the moral outrage and give their customers what they want. The same will happen to Dr Who. They are already beside themselves with glee that they have Dr Who and their fanboys on the hook. Just go read the Guardian Comments section. Anyone who disagrees with DR Who being a woman is instantly branded an evil Mysoginist who hates women. This is from NON-FANS of the show. they really couldn't give two hoots about it.
  3. Thats just the beginning. People who are into identity politics have a habbit of showing moral outrage over every minor slight. Cue Wonder Woman's lack of armpit hair outrage. I think they will rip Dr Who to shreds before the first season is over. And they probably aren't even fans who watch the show. Once the pandering starts, it never stops.
  4. If the component is a standard jack socket, it might be worth looking to see if it can be purchased from Maplins or Rapid Electronics. Simple soldering is fairly straightforward.
  5. Gmail wins hands down for me.
  6. That's been disproven. Can't remember if it was fake news or he was cast but stepped down due to scheduling conflicts.
  7. The comments section is very predictable for that article. The fanboys who watch the show don't want the Doctor to change, and the Political Idealogues who never watch the show are demanding that the cis white male doctor be ousted. It was a disaster when Marvel comics listened to identity politics. It will be a disaster if Doctor Who does the same.
  8. I haven't taken to Bill one bit. Killing her and turning her into a cyberman was the highlight of the last episode for me. Although my guess is that the Doctor uses up his regeneration power to save her and she will be back next season.
  9. It didn't specifically need to be The Rani, it could have been a whole new evil Time Lord. That said, Missy is a much better fit to The Rani's Character than The Master.
  10. Reminds me of the scene in Burke & Hare where they push a drunk down the stairs & he just gets up and carries on walking.
  11. It's possible. Personally, i don't think Missy is a bad character in isolation. In fact, she's very good. But i don't assosiate her with the Master in any shape or form when i see her on DW. I think it would have been much better if they'd created a new character with her own back story rather than the identity politics of 'look, time lords can change gender!' change that we got.
  12. Autodesk does free Software for education but it is very power hungry.
  13. My guess is that people's requests to have data deleted from backups is so rare that it almost never happens.
  14. After Effects has a very steep learning curve. It's more complex than Photoshop to get to grips with. But there's some cool stuff that can be done with it. http://www.videocopilot.net/
  15. This is an outrage. The perpetrators of this heinous Wannacry virus have now gone too far.
