Event Viewer error 5723

At my new job just looking through the event logs. This error seems to keep cropping up The session setup from computer '(computer name)' failed because the security database does not contain a trust account '(computer name$)' referenced by the specified computer. . This PC is not in the AD anymore and cannot find it in the room. When i ping it i get the ping request could not find the host.

 

Any ideas?

How big is the environment? Check DHCP to get the machine's MAC address and start checking the switch tables on the switches. Start at the topmost switch in the environment and work your way down. Eventually you'll be able to find the individual switch port it is on.
