I'm right by the South West coast so the weather is REALLY BAD, just waiting for the next lot to move in as a bit calmer at the moment, hit us about 3am this morning, school is not closed. :(

It's windy and rainy here - uni is still open.

I must say I found the BBC reporters on location quite entertaining - glad I'm up early now - not every day you get to see people trying to give a serious report while trying not to blow away!

Was bad overnight here but calmed down by about 7am. Sunny now. Some local schools closed due to very large trees nearby but mine open, worse luck!

The wind has eased a bit down here, with a bit of drizzle. School still open here even with bits of the roof blowing off our new building which is only 8 months old.

There's a bit of flooding and a few trees down round the Falmouth area in Cornwall.

I have not heard of any of the schools being closed yet here.

Wind and heavy drizzle ... only made worse by the fact that I have not long come off my morning yard duty and encouraging the little darlings in on time.

I re-proofed my coat last weekend, so glad that I did, but my trousers are still soaked.

I have just heard that a house near here has just fallen in the sea!! I heard all the sirens of emergency vehicles going down but didnt know why.

Appantly water is waist deep in the camp site next to the house that has now gone and there are 30 people being airlifted to safety!!

Must watch news tonight!

A bit windy and wet here.

One of the teachers (or students) left a window open over the weekend. So we have 2 very wet computers sat in our office drying out

I've had this happen to me before, a classic way to render a machine utterly useless.
