Davit2005 Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 We have a team of 9 - including Manager, and MIS Administrator - 3 Technicians and 3 NM's - so we have two Round Robin teams ManageEngine does auto assign and you can exclude users such as managers or third level being assigned. SysAID thanks @psydii , was another one I was trying to think of but haven't used in over 6 years.
RichardHoughton Posted June 26, 2017 Author Posted June 26, 2017 Arranged Demo of Nethelpdesk and trying to find a slot for SysAid - using the various Helpdesk review sites - some are very basic,
RichardHoughton Posted June 27, 2017 Author Posted June 27, 2017 Just had demo with SysAid - the best so far for features, UI, Custom even down to using Chat, Teamviewer from inside a ticket to get straight to the customer - two more this week.
RichardHoughton Posted June 29, 2017 Author Posted June 29, 2017 Excellent demo from Samanage today, gets great reviews on Top 20 Help Desk Software 2017 - Compare Reviews - very powerful. over 20 products now on review list.
kearton Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 (edited) ManageEngine - ServiceDesk PLus. Not free but maybe worth a try. +1 for this. But it *is* free! (used to only be free for up to 5 technicians, but they changed this a few years ago) https://techcrunch.com/2014/03/05/zoho-seeks-to-disrupt-it-helpdesk-market-by-offering-servicedesk-for-free/ Edited June 29, 2017 by kearton 1
Nausing Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 We use onsite ManageEngine, the prices are fairly good now days if you just want the standard bits. You can either have it hosted. I think under 5 techs is free too. 1

I think under 5 techs is free too. It's completely free... (I'm licensed for 20 techs) https://www.manageengine.com/news/manageengine-servicedesk-plus-free-standard-edition-help-desk.html 1
Arcolite Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 It's completely free... (I'm licensed for 20 techs) https://www.manageengine.com/news/manageengine-servicedesk-plus-free-standard-edition-help-desk.html It still says that the Standard version is limited to 5 techs on that page.
Simcfc73 Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Do any of these have a section for day to day logging.. so a techie can log jobs they carry out each day. We currently use diaries along with our helpdesk which isn't ideal.
nathan Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Just spoke with ManageEngine and they will no longer give extra users.
Roberto Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 We are looking to replace our BMC Track IT Helpdesk System - we need more reporting features - Custom, scheduled reports, Dashboard, Quick Chat, AD integrated, Knowledge Base, Alerts, Multi Teams of Technicians and Round Robin (not all the list). What systems do you use / suggestions. We've just switched to JIRA service desk. Good value (but not free) and very nice to use. Simple enough to set up, good mobile apps, good web app.
