Office 365, which apps did you rollout to your staff and faculty?

For any of you that are using Office 365, I am curious if you wouldn't mind sharing which apps you present to your users or which you didn't want them to have access to. We are planning an on-premise exchange to Exchange Online migration and are having many discussions about what other aspects of O365 we want to offer and/or support and would love to know what some of you have done in your approach.

Thanks!

We rolled out everything but Yammer, SfB (onsite), Exchange (onsite), Sharepoint (meh) and some of the management/tools apps. My attitude is to give them the tools and give them a go - we can easily remove or add any with Powershell.

I think we are currently leaning towards everything including Yammer. The main reason we are considering leaving Yammer is it appears as though a good number of our students and staff are already using it! I am seeing posts from before we even signed up for O365! I'm guessing this was due to Yammer being a thing before it was included with O365 subs?

Just curious why those that responded chose not to roll out Yammer.

Thanks!

For us - we didn't think it would add anything positive to the resources we provide. It looked more likely to be a distraction, or more likely a safeguarding/bullying issue (oh how social media has made that one fun!)

All of it except Skype for Business initially as pre-Compliance Center there was no auditing of IM conversations.

Now it'd be the whole lot, just need to go back and enable the S4B licenses at some point.

I have made the suggestion that we offer the entire suite as many of our users are asking for them and plenty are already using them. As for support, since our project is really centered on migrating email from on-premise to the cloud, we are trying to formalize our support stance. It currently sounds like we are framing the project as email upgrade/migration and as a bonus, these other offerings will be available, however, with limited support. Basically trying to inform our users that they can and may use whatever, but that we will most likely just be providing them with the links to Microsoft's own information/help/how-to sites and videos. Of course, our Help Desk will try to assist them whenever possible, but none of us are SharePoint designers for instance.

Nevermind, figured it out.

We've got all allowed except Exchange (as we've had got Google Apps set up way before Office365 took off).

Just thinking about the 'Video' app.

By default, anyone can create and upload videos. On one hand, this is handy for students to show off their media work.

But on the other hand, it could be easily abused by students, uploading all sorts of junk, which might be a nightmare to manage.

I'm curious to how have you all set your 'Video' app permissions? What do you do?
