We've had this number for well over a decade, and we'd like to keep it but assign it to some commercial VoIP service so I can stop throwing £19pcm to Virgin for a landline we never use!

We ported two BT numbers onto one Gamma VoIP trunk through @Millgate; no problem. They managed everything for us. I did something similar at home too.

We've migrated plenty of numbers from Virgin Media onto our VoIP service. If you need any advice just let me know Dave Simple question, and I assume the simple answer is "No"! We managed to get our main switchboard number at my previous school away from Virgin and Birmingham City Council. They didn't like it, but they did it. Edited February 24, 2017 by Trapper
nadeem Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Yes, I've done this ported from BT to Spitfire. It may not be possible from a Virgin Media number though, as I don't think they are subject to the same porting regulations as BT
