gpjt Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Is anyone else having issues with Google/ Google images using RMsafetynet? We tend to get sporadic results when searching on Google. In particular image search. Sometimes we'll get a blank page, sometimes just the top suggested images and rarely the full compliment. I've rolled out the new certificate RM have posted.
Renfield-64 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 We had this problem a few weeks back. Try changing your proxy settings to sslfilter.staffproxy.swgfl.org.uk for staff and proxy.swgfl.org.uk for students. It worked for us.

If you use proxy.swgfl.org.uk, your SSL results will not be getting intercepted/checked IIRC.

You are better off on the PSN. Yes web filtering access does concern me. They didn't tell me that until after we signed up to it. Just a reply of we'll get better filtering that can be set to particular staff etc etc.... Is that not the case? The cost of the PSN is crazy though!!!

No user based filtering has been rolled out to schools yet. You will need to log a call to request any filtering changes etc. The PSN price came down for most schools, but Staffs are no longer offering this option. There were some better solutions depending on your options RM offered all Staffs Schools a great price on EoFTTC last year. Some schools paid £625 for the first year.
