phil0569 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Has any one else come across this problem. We use PCE in school for monitoring purposes. When a user selects switch user on windows PCE stops capturing for the new user. I haven't had a definite answer on how or if this will be fixed. Has any one got any ideas please.
phil0569 Posted January 12, 2017 Author Posted January 12, 2017 We have disabled the fast user switching which does stop the problem. Unfortunately we really need this option on. Teachers have their own class rooms and will log on, when they leave the room they will lock the machine. If another teacher is in there next they have to physically power off the machine to be able to log on. OK tell them not to lock the machines, we have done that, but they then moan at the time wasted logging on to the system, getting register ready, this wastes teaching time etc. So they lock it anyway...... Catch 22 situation.

Trojan Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 We have that issue here. Advice from the LA was to disable fast user switching which has been done via GP, the staff do moan but hey.. safeguarding.
