No it doesn't - well not as far as I know. In this instance the word "prove" means "test", so it is the exception that tests the rule out.

Believe it or not I do actually really like my car and will stay as far away from other as possible. I'm not, but they're using domain PC's which all have the GPO applied to enforce it. I've been thinking about changing it for some groups of PC's - was interested that @DavePa hasn't used it for a long time and if there was something better or it was no longer deemed necessary and I was years out of date....

Actualy I had a brain misfire...I haven't used it for ages on my PCs at home or at work but it is however still used on the domain PCs that the students use - I had totally forgotten about thse ones! I posted it as I had just logged into my PC and by habit gone for the ctrl-alt-del combo

It's enforced by tradition - that's the way Windoze works and since we've been in the education business since the mid 1500s we like tradition.
