We've got it - I sent out the survey and I know some staff completed it.

It seems hit and miss as to whether team drive appears in the iOS app at the moment.

Had anyone got good or bad experiences to share from their testing? And any idea when it might be launched? I can't find it on their release schedule...

Does it work with the client to synchronise to either a PC or a server?

We have been using it. Seems to work as expected. The only down side other than no Vault support is atm you cannot put folders of stuff into it. But this is coming as I've just done their feedback form on exactly how this would work especially in situations where the folder contains stuff owned by many users. As far as I know it does not work with the sync tool - but we don't use it anyways. No general release date yet.

Not going brilliantly. Tried to migrate a load of documents which were already shared in Drive. About 80% of them moved. Some of the sub-folders appear in the old folder, but when you attempt to access them you get an error message that the folder has moved. Some have been left with almost all of the files moved to the Team Drive, but the sub-folder now exists in both the old location and the new location with the files split between them. Some of the files can be moved individually to correct the error, but others seem stuck and every time I try, I get "An error occurred while moving the file".

Things improved. All of Drive seemed slow here today. Don't know if it was our internet (no other problems apparent), some kind of reconfiguration to do with enabling team drive or just random. Will be watching for a while.

Has that changed since EAP? Our users were able to move files in. What access do your end users have to team drive?

I didn't try with a file. Just a folder and it wouldn't let me.

Post #36 says you did. ;)

I agree. It is rubbish. It's almost as if Google made Team Drives available before it was ready. :(

I had another go, but this time dragged and dropped some folders from the "Shared with me" folder to a Team Drive and it worked! A little box pops up saying "Migration process has begun..." and a few seconds later the folders appear in the Team Drive. :)
