Adding inherited ipads to DEP

I have taken over support at a local school and want to incorporate Apple Schools Manager. The issue I am having is that the current devices are not enrolled into our DEP and as the devices were bought through the previous IT company, who have gone bust, I have no way of adding them to our DEP

I have added the devices to Meraki and linked Meraki to ASM but cannot add any devices to ASM

I have spoken to Apple and they say there is no way to add these devices without knowing the supplier and their DEP reseller code.

Long shot, anyone know of any way to add these devices????

Pretty sure that unless you know the supplier and DEP reseller code you are out of luck.

Kinda surprised that Apple couldn't find this out for you though?!

Apple said the same however wondered if there was a way to spoof the system into adding serials retrospectively.

There is no way to spoof the system, I would guess these were from AT Computers? I've managed to get some iPads DEP'd a while ago for schools who had them from AT.

 

I can push this up the Apple chain for you if you PM me your schools details, although I can't guarantee a result.
