  1. I have taken over the support of a school network and can see that they currently have Microsoft Office 2010 pro and a license key for this. (Although this does register the software I am not sure of the validity of this key) There does not seem to be anything for Win7 though. I have a pile of faulty devices that need reimagine and would like a volume license key for this. Could anyone give me any ideas as to the best way forward and pricing??.
  2. I put together a powershell script which will do this. I created it to set up a new machine. I can send this to you later if you like
  3. I have ESXI installed on our server with 2 x Windows Server 2012 VM's running, one as a DC and one as an App server hosting SIMS, WSUS, Sophos etc. ESXI is quick and easy to install. I'd definitely recommend using it.
  4. Apple said the same however wondered if there was a way to spoof the system into adding serials retrospectively. Thanks Though:)
  5. I have taken over support at a local school and want to incorporate Apple Schools Manager. The issue I am having is that the current devices are not enrolled into our DEP and as the devices were bought through the previous IT company, who have gone bust, I have no way of adding them to our DEP I have added the devices to Meraki and linked Meraki to ASM but cannot add any devices to ASM I have spoken to Apple and they say there is no way to add these devices without knowing the supplier and their DEP reseller code. Long shot, anyone know of any way to add these devices???? Cheers
  6. It's the migration I need advice on. Not sure of the steps
  7. We have SIMS hosted on a P2P machine and need to move this onto something more robust. I have a physical server running ESXI and 2 VM's one as a DC and the other as an app machine. What I would like to do is move SIMS onto this VM but am not sure how to go about this. I have hunted high and low for for some info on this but all I can find relates to SQL 2005 and is probably a bit old. Has anyone had any experience of moving SIMS? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
