ChickenDhansak Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Morning all Our Health & Safety officer has an iPad on which he writes reports using iAuditor (something like that). That's all he has on there other than the normal iPad software. Disk space is reported as 12gb and he has 44kb free. For the life of us we cannot find where all the space has gone. We have deleted any photos etc and it's made no difference. He has emailed himself all his reports and basically there's nothing left on the iPad of his. Is there a hidden folder or somewhere else I can look to see what is using all his disk space? Thanks
ITJS2015 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 If you have enough space to download and app called power clean, I have it for my iphone and it does the trick. It will get rid of disk space which you will not see 2
ChickenDhansak Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 There's no space at all to do anything, but if I can free some up I'll try that app - thanks
sted Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 roll the clock back a year or 2 sometimes it then shows photos you otherwse cant see/delete
casey Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Have you checked the 'deleted photos' folder? That needs to be emptied if you deleted the pictures less than 30 days ago.
tekins Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Is a lot of the space showing as "Other" when plugged into iTunes? if so, a backup, wipe then restore will sort it. I had to do this to mine last year, ran out of space even with only a dozen or so apps on it.
Sylv3r Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Does it have any iOS updates pending to be installed?
mikkydoos Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 We use a bit of assessment software on Ipads that stores loads of photos within the app. Have a look at your usage list for each app. That'll tell you which app is hogging the space I think its in ... Settings -->General--->Usage. Something like that.
