ergo.co.uk Anyone ever used these?

We have just received a quote from this company. Wanted to know if anyone else has used this company in the past and what your thoughts are on their service/warranty and how well their PCs are put together.

We've had some laptops from them - not bad build quality, and not needed to use the warranty so far - which is a good thing

Bought a number of laptops/PCs from them in a previous Job - good quality. However Support/communication was poor after purchase.

I've used them for competitive quotes before, and had one of their units in to have a go. Their pricing was very good and the build quality seemed decent. I believe their support is from Zoostorm. However, I've not used the support so I don't know what that is actually like.

I used them ages ago... It was an OK experience, I think we had a batch of 50 PCs, a couple were DOA and were swapped without any fuss. Left before we needed to call on any warranty services.

We bought some laptops from them a couple of years ago and they are the worst laptops we have ever bought. We have had numerous faults and the company does everything they can to get out of repairing them. We bought an on-site warranty and we have to fight with them every time to get an on-site repair. Some of the repairs took weeks get someone on site. They have improved a bit lately but we still have to fight to get an on-site repair. We will never buy from this company again.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole due to bad experiences in two different schools a few years ago.

We have around 60 of the PCs which we've had for just over a year.

 

Had two failures, 1 wouldn't power at all, we got an engineer out 2 days after and another we had memory fail, which they shipped next day delivery after we sent them a memtest.

I've bought around 700 PC's from them in the last 8 years. Decent PC's, tend to be the cheapest quote I get. Build quality is decent, and it's not very often that we have a problem. Support is decent, normally get an engineer onsite (we tend to get a guy who used to work directly for Ergo and has now set up on his and they contract him back in).

We have them too, I recently had a faulty hdd, shipped a replacement today and will collect tomorrow. I did get offered an engineer but took the easy option.

I've been in a few schools recently with Ergo Laptops.

 

After a few years (3+), these seem to be working and parts are fairly easy to source via 3rd parties if the warranties have expired.

Not really used the in warranty service so wont comment.

We used them a few yars back , build quality awful , support shocking , NEVER again.
