Brick Wall "Illusion" - Do You See It?

I have to admit that I didn't see this straight away. I saw the image for the first time yesterday morning. It was only this afternoon when a colleague was looking at it that I saw what was in the image.

 

There is a poll attached: Did you see the content straight away? [Even if you saw it elsewhere for the first time]

I saw it the other day, and my first thought was you have to be blind not to see it !!

 

Perhaps because it's because I wouldn't have expected to see that there? It really seems like it doesn't belong.

I didn't see it until I slowly scrolled back up. Revealing the picture slowly from the bottom makes the object clearly visible.

It is just like one of those "magic eye" pictures that were popular a while ago. You need to focus your eyes on a point BEHIND the picture. Or just unfocus your eyes slightly.

I thought it was something about that area, but I thought the end of the cigar was an animal or something

Can see it straight away now. Originally I couldn't see anything but once you spot it you then cannot unsee it.

I can't see that picture at all. (For some reason this happens with a lot of your posts, @DaveP - I'm guessing they're hosted somewhere our filter doesn't like).

 

Anyway, are we looking at the bit sticking out roughly centre? Are we supposed to not notice it, or not know what it is? Or something els?

Upon first seeing the image I could not see the cigar. I could see the ash on the end of the cigar but I could not decide what it was. I couldn't see the cigar al all.

It was the "circled" pic i couldn't see. Anyway, makes sense now. I was the same as you. Once seen, you can't "unsee" it though.
