We wouldn't use it to anywhere near its potential here. 2K = too much.

I only want to access shared LAN directories

Hi there,

Just wanted to mention that we do offer a per device (iPad) licence for Foldr that would probably be more suitable here. This is available in blocks of 5 devices.

Thanks to thebryonic and fairm010 for the kind words!

We had an issue with OneDrive on the trolley iPads when the students would forget to logout and the next student to use would have full access to all their files etc. which turned out bad.

Well ipad is designed for 1:1 .

I appreciate they are designed for 1:1, they're ultimately for home use.

We've got over 300, about 100 of which are class sets shared by potentially 6 students per day each (that's if the batteries last that long mind haha!)

I never thought about that. It's a shame how every possible solution always seems to have drawbacks, especially when students are involved lol.....

Google drive now that google is worth more than MS :p.

I personally hate Google Drive being from a Microsoft background. I just love OneDrive because at least the online apps are "real" :-p

Just good old Microsoft changing their prices soon, probably Nadella trying to catch up with Gates.

Yeah by 19% worse case, year on year and then charge us for using O365.

Do you use Office365? If so, put the OneDrive app on and upload them using that?

We do. This is a Primary and kids don't have accounts.... although I suppose I could lock some down.

Might be a bit much for the little ones.

If you have a QNAP NAS Server use QFile HD. It's free an easy to use. All pupils here airdrop work to the teacher's iPad and then uses QFile HD to send all documents on NAS.
