Its the wrong way round, pin 1 is w/o, and as the lead only goes in one way you have got Brown on Pin 1, so it just needs a minor modification

I can think of a few people that could insert the cable the wrong way too (funnily enough I would like to give them a demonstration on inserting patch cables into places that they were never intended to be inserted )

I still say its wrong as the compression clamp is on top, so it looks wrong to me

You are indeed looking at the bottom, and yes it should be reversed. I've made enough of the bloody things, I ought to know 8O

 

While we are being picky, shouldn't there be an ' at the end of professionals? I left it out as I was only copying what was there, but my brother said it was missing.

I only noticed it tonight for the 1st time, and i wasn't having a go, its a great logo, very clever. So I really would not worry to much unless somebody uses it as a wiring diagram, but so long as they match at each end its going to work fine.

Being honest ... as long as you have the pairing right at both ends of the patch lead and it works there is no problem ...

 

Personally I think the lead is wrong anyway ... it is missing the 13 amp plug from the other end.

 

And it needs to be encased in a glass fronted wooden box with the legend "in case of luser, break glass"

I do have one of these boxes in the loft ... and I keep promising to get it down and bring it in to school ...

 

I used to have a similar box which held my Bokken (wooden practice swords), which had the legend "I haven't had any chocolate, caffiene or sex yet today. Do not P!55 me off!" (based on a similar box that my RSM had which contained a replica Browning 9mm)

 

And before anyone asks ... I do not have anger management issues, and anyone who says otherwise will get a visit!!!

Tai Sabaki is very important. Angling. Footwork. All fundamental to a good martial skill. You should learn these to a functional level at an early stage in your martial arts--and properly. *Mastery* of those movements is a life-long process.

 

Of course we call it "body evasion" technique. Taught from beginner onwards. And these movements have to be natural- no point in being inflexible and rigid. Especially in life-or-death situations where the weapon isn't a classical weapon like a bokken- but instead a kitchen knife or blade of some kind...that'll get ya cut up real bad.
