Hi Everyone,

I have created a mandatory profile, Mandate.v2,in windows server 2008 R2. I need to deploy mandatory profiles to multiple user, So i have changed the user's profile path to \\server\\profiles\mandate.v2. As per my knowledge,This is how we deploy mandatory profiles to multiple user.I can successfully login to accounts as a mandatory profile.

User's internet doesn't work on any browser. It says 'site can't be reached'.

If i right click the chrome or internet explorer and click run as administrator,It works.

Is it some thing related with permissions ?

I have stored the mandatory.V2 under folder 'Profiles' and the user's Appdata,Documents and download are redirected to another folder called 'mandate accounts'.

What permission should i set on profiles, Mandatory.V2,and mandate staff accounts ?

Thanks

Beek

Beek, you've replied to a Windows 10 thread, so the first point I should make is that Windows 10 profiles are either V5 or V6 (depending on whether you have applied the Anniversary Update or not, V5 without, V6 with)

Secondly, when applying the path to their profile in Active Directory, you do not include the .V#. Simply \\server\profiles\mandate

I've set all the permission in the Hive and on the file share too.

*update* My fault.. missed the .v6 off the end
