Heads PA (also clerk to governors etc) deals with the logins for them, so has a list if they need to access/remove one etc. Just generic Gov1-10 accounts, so anyone can transfer to another user etc Steve 1

No. We just have a governors email distribution list with their personal email details on it - only the school PA can post to the list. 1

IrritableTech Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 We do yes - we've had the odd password reset request but not too many. As a GAFE school we share documents and the like with governors a fair bit. I'd be hesitant to be sharing school information over personal email accounts. 1
unixman_again Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 All our governors have college logins and email addresses. There is a governor email group but I don't think it is ever used. What really happens is the Principals PA has a list of their private email addresses and she sends to that. They still need to login to the network though to see various briefings which are posted to the intranet. 1
Blue_Cookeh Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Yes, we do. We stick (Gov) on to the end of their display names to make it obvious too. Our management are very good at leaving governor's personal e-mails off important messages too, so they're forced to use our school accounts. 1
