Edu-IT Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Bingo. They only get a browse button now. Perhaps it just took some time to apply across the servers.
EdTheGreek Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Could I also have a copy of your scripts please @StephenHardy

ModeratelyGruntled Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Hello Would I be able to see this script too? I want to set a custom role assignment policy for a specific group of users (ie students) - can I do this from csv? Or where domain = @student.school.uk ? Been playing around with it with some test users but can't seem to get it to stick. Any help appreciated as always!
LukeC Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 This is what i have used, you just need to change "OwaMailboxPolicy-Default" to the mailbox policy they belong too Set-OwaMailboxPolicy -Identity OwaMailboxPolicy-Default -GroupCreationEnabled $false 1
MattGibson Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Hi Everyone, Just disabled them in the ECP but the issue I now have is how to disable the groups students have already created and are still using to send emails! My logic would be they'd appear within Groups but they don't...... Really don't understand why Microsoft enable these features by default rather than letting us know it's there to be enabled, would save us so much hassle!
Boredguy Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Ours are in The Admin portal -> Groups. Don't look for them in the Exchange admin portal, but rather the normal Office 365 one. 2
Steve21 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 When you say they don't show up in groups are you looking in the 365 groups or Exchange? As pretty sure they were in the 365 but not Exchange for us Steve 1
MattGibson Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Thanks, your correct I found them in 365 Groups, originally the search feature wasn't returning any results but I found them by going through page by page.
T_Lister Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I don't seem to have the 'set-owa...' cmdlets? Is this because I'm running an older version of the Azure AD tool? Or am I missing something?
Matt_Renato Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Can you get it to work if you follow through the steps here? 2
T_Lister Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Thanks for that, Matt_Renato. It has worked now!
Bob_the_Goon Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 @StephenHardy - would you be able to send me a copy of that script please? Thanks.
