localzuk Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 I have disabled the Enderman spawner and grinder in the End. It isn't working right, whoever made it. Logging in today there were nearly 2000 Endermen in the End, causing the tick time to be double what it should be!

Turns out I have nowhere near sustainable power, and I also don't know how to move power from Generators -> Storage (I'm using capacitor banks) without sticking the ends directly on because I beloved Transfer Pipes don't do power

localzuk Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 Use Conduits for power. Seem to be the most reliable and simple to use! Plus you can use the different types in the same block. How much energy are you generating at the moment?

Plenty of others choices though. If you need any give me a shout.

Basically, you can swap in different powered spawners at the touch of a button. That's a bit advanced for me I have a couple of MFR Auto Spawners and some safari balls for when I need certain things. I had a smeltry set up with villagers to auto smelt emeralds, but turned it off when they started escaping and running riot around the grounds! So I have 5(?) of the most primitive Solar Panels as my "renewable" power source currently.

Come pinch some Creosote oil and hemp fibres (I think you need 256 fibres per windmill), I have plenty, and you're golden. They'll carry on generating power at night time, and even better, windmills increase their energy output during storms.

I have a few. @Sephiroth How is that killing the endermen. I have a need for ender shards but they only drop from endermen in the end when killed by a 'player'.

It's supposed to kill them using a grinder, which I believe emulates player kills as I'm getting treasure from them. Haven't checked for ender shards though. If you can get a turtle running though, that should do.

You could probably substitute the grinder with that for the same effect. I use a MFR Auto Spawner and an Ender IO Attractor Obelisk with octadic capacitor upgrade to bring them all to one place, then grind them into ender pearls

I find that most of the necessity of spawners is negated by manufacturing substitutes. The early one that got me was blaze powder and rods. I just started growing Cinder Pearls.
