It's an oldie but I've only just watched it. I don't get it... I don't know what I was expecting from the name, I'm even more unsure of the ending. Did I miss the point to this film?

I clicked on this thread hoping to get some inspiration for furniture for my space limited snug - or what I call the "waiting room". Damn.

I have to admit that my first thought was having to do anything in the preschool. That furniture is not good when you have todo stuff down there.

Tongue firmly in cheek cos I do know about H&S: It's not even high enough to stand on to reach things.

Never heard of it. Checked on IMDb and saw who it was by. Have the wrong "equipment" to make it even worth considering.

(Plus it seems to be a bit hipster/mumblecore and I don't have any problems getting to sleep).

There does seem to be something of a fashion with films at the moment where it's just 90-120 mins of stuff happening. No story to speak of, just a slice of life. I suppose that in itself could be considered the point but to be honest, I find it a bit boring.

Not that I've seen Tiny Furniture but that's kind of what I expect of it from the description I've seen.

Funnily enough we watched Promised Land yesterday and it was a nice Sunday afternoon movie but after it we both said there wasn't really anything there. Interesting with a bit of a story but nothing major, you almost were waiting for the film to get out of the beginning preamble to get out of the way and the film proper to start right up until the end.
