TheHawk Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Hi I'm not sure if this is in the right section but we have just setup a year group with office 365 for education accounts which has a one drive built in I was wondering if there was a way of having the one drive as a mapped drive within Windows 7, mainly just for ease of access for the students. If anyone has done this or knows how to do this any advice would be appreciated Thanks Dale
halbaradkenafin Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 This login script can handle that: https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/OneDriveMapper-automaticall-d7d498b0 I've tested it a bit and it works pretty well, just need to make sure it's got the correct domain etc in. If you use a 3rd party for your federation (we've got RM Unify) then there are some problems with it that I haven't worked out (entirely due to the RM Unify works for login).
DalekSec Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 We tested this for awhile IAM Cloud | The Ultimate IT Management platform Seems like a good product shame we didn't test it enough in the 30days and never really went back to it.
Winner Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Here's a free tool that will map OneDrive for Business: Office365 and surroundings
MrFrostmaul Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) Using IAM Cloud and so far is very good, it just works and we have our ADFs with them so sSO works and I don't have to host the servers internally and worry about them going down. We also have share point document lubricant mapped such as subject share areas for staff. For the price of IaM cloud it worth every penny and does more then drive mapping Edited September 29, 2015 by MrFrostmaul
garethEds Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I am looking into this at the moment - so thanks everyone. Timely post. GJE
Paid_Peanuts Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 How is IAM cloud licenced? Basically what I'm asking is how much does it cost?
Paid_Peanuts Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Get started | IAM Cloud Education Don't worry - I found it. i am not used to companies being so open and honest about their pricing structure. it's normally smoke and mirrors then you find out a school down the road got it cheaper...
