SteveM555 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Nothing on VLSC for Windows just yet... We've got the MAK keys for Office 2016 Pro Plus in VLSC but no ISO in the Software section yet...
Homer Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I thought that. Probably late this afternoon/early evening before we'll see it I reckon. And that's if they don't bugger it up and end up removing everything from VLSC in the process of adding Office 2016!
RowlandoGloom Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Mmm I've got the keys but no download! :/ Same here :-( Come on US time - catch up!
MalekoUK Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Glad I'm not the only one who keeps checking... haha
RowlandoGloom Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Sad aren't we Playing around with Server TP3 and Win10 VDI. All I need to finish off is Office installed on the guest and I'll have a working setup. Tension.

I've just this week done a 2012 based VDI and I love it (so much more so than our existing VDI In a Box deployment) and am interested to see how 2016 improves on it

I've just this week done a 2012 based VDI and I love it (so much more so than our existing VDI In a Box deployment) and am interested to see how 2016 improves on it I've found it pretty much the same to be honest. It does seem a lot quicker, but I find Win10 is a lot quicker on the same hardware as 8.1 - hence why virtual desktops are probably quicker. I just wish the on the RDWeb login page they'd change it from "Windows Server 2012R2" (it's just the old one) I find Office 2016 a bit faster than 2013, so it's just the final piece of the jigsaw. I'm trying it out virtually as opposed to rolling it out across the whole site - which will probably be the beginning of 2016. It's like waiting for XMas - COME ON MICROSOFT! Paul. zag Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Anyone got it working with Sims yet? I get an error running reports.
nathan Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 the add attachment drop down is a nice time saver in outlook. Saves me from looking around for the file i've just updated.

RowlandoGloom Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Man this day is dragging now... haha, gonna be earliest 4pm until we see sommit i guess... Thing is, today drags and I bet the download takes forever and drags due to the amount of people hammering MS's servers. I've got the pro 90 day trial on, but of course it won't accept the product key being a different type. Come on MS
FN-GM Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) Now I'm happy... Argh! I didn't see that, I didn't even click it! Its disappeared from mine!! Edited October 2, 2015 by FN-GM
SteveM555 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Happy to see the 'Upgrade' option from 2013... Unlike 2010 to 2013 Not sure why Outlook wanted to download my whole mailbox again though
rrrrr Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 got office 2016 now, no visio 2016 on there though?
