googlemad Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Dell Inspiron Micro Desktop, brand new, Intel J1800, SSD, Win 8.1 incl del & VAT £99 @ Dell - Hot UK Deals As usual with this bloody deals site my bank account seems to be missing around £99 that I'm sure was there this morning...
FN-GM Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Is it worth buying? The specs are pretty poor. Im chucking out better speced stuff.
3s-gtech Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 These have upgradeable RAM I believe, and as I often go on about, these Bay Trail based CPUs are surprisingly capable. With 4GB of RAM it could make a nifty little multi purpose box for less than a new Apple TV.
Oaktech Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) I'd rather have a computestick if only for the footprint! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Compute-Stick-Atom-Windows/dp/B00UZ3CYE2 Edited September 11, 2015 by Oaktech
SteveBentley Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I'm quite tempted by this deal HP ProLiant Gen8 G1610T 4GB RAM MicroServer - Ebuyer Could be a decent replacement for my aging Synology NAS. Possibly with Xenserver and a couple of different Linux installs doing different things.
