I can't remember being sent as many e-mails as I am receiving now in previous years. Im now getting between 5 - 10 per day reminding me that BETT is next week!!

Is anybody else getting all of these or have I ticked a box somewhere asking to be mail bombed on a regular basis?

I think its based on what subjects and things your interested in, I ticked nearly everything possible as I look over everything.

It used to be that you got one with absolutely everything in, and people used to miss things. Now they tend to separate out the areas and send multiple messages.

You go onto the mailing lists as soon as you have registered.

If you find it seriously annoying I can mention it at the next Advisory Group. There will be a short survey after the exhibition for members to complete if it is not too much trouble.

I have received loads this year too anf i always make sure that i uncheck any boxes that subscribe me... they are also all html which exchange/evolution hates so the formatting is dodgy. i too have not received my pass yet!

Edugeek (Tony is our rep) is part of group that meet every so often to talk about views on BETT and how to make it better. So we have two hats one because we have a stand and other because we can get your views on it as well.

Ive only had about 3 emails in 2 days so thats acceptible for me, and I've had my pass for weeks, just waiting for postie pete to bring me train tickets, its ok having the tickets and the credit card showing they have the money but the conductor wants the bits of paper!

I have had 85 emails over the last month, and that is just as a registered visitor and from exhibitors that scanned me in the last two years who I have had subsequent quotes from.
