ranj Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Hi All On my Golf I have the discover navigation system but I suppose my question may relate to similar systems in other cars. I have some mp3s which I have on a USB stick which play fine on the discover navigation however I would like to add the album art rather than seeing a blank picture for a song. I have the mp3s in a folder and have downloaded all the album art separately, I just need a program which I can use to attached the art to the individual mp3. Is there a tool I can use to do this with? It can be either Mac or Windows but would prefer freeware. Preferably batch so I can select a folder with all my songs and then just add the album art easily. Am I right in thinking I need an mp3 tag tool? Thanks
Steve21 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 MediaMonkey » Free Media Jukebox, Music Manager, CD Ripper & Converter Tell it to search a folder and it'll go through online services (e.g. amazon blahblah) and download all the info/pics There's a free version that's limited to how many per month etc. Steve 1
3s-gtech Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Windows Media Player can do it too, per album if that helps.

I have downloaded the art but its in a separate folder. I am guessing your solution would work fine with official releases.
Diello Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) My personal choice for organising my collection: Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...) You can automatically search for Album Art, or use your own downloaded graphics. Edited June 15, 2015 by Diello

Crumpet Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I used to use a program to do it back when i first bought an iPod Touch. That was years ago now though.
X-13 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Windows Media Player can do it too, per album if that helps. This is what I do. Works fine.
