Hi all,

quick question...

Got a school trip going abroad for a week and the teacher wants to communicate with the school / parents via Twitter.

Can you set up a Twitter feed where subscribers can't reply ? e.g. read only

Or is Facebook a better option.

I'm not a girl so I don't know :tape2:

Cheers in advance.

You have to turn it on in Admin and it will replace Newsfeed

Oh cheers. So do parent need to download an app and subscribe or do they need an O365 account.

we used Wordpress for school trips at my last school. App loaded on school iPhones for the teachers. Comments from parents, staff and students were moderated. Different trips had their own category setup. Easier to look back on later than a Twitter feed.

I'm thinking a read only feed. The pupils won't have phones, just the teacher. Basically so she can keep the parents updated on how they are, what they're doing etc, without subscribers being able to send replies.
