Tesla Posted February 6, 2018 Author Posted February 6, 2018 Yes. This is what happens. (being vague as to not spoil anything) When writing how far i'd gone I spent five minutes trying to think of how to write it, then remembered they're called palaces!
failnator Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Im on the last part of the game and find that on your first play through mainly level your chars stats as if you play through again on + mode you apparently keep them.
sted Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Im on the last part of the game and find that on your first play through mainly level your chars stats as if you play through again on + mode you apparently keep them. you do you have pretty much 0 hope of 5 stars and doing everything on your first play through unless you follow a guide as certain characters are only available certain days or like me i missed one entirely and they are one of the more useful ones spoiler you can get extra time in classes to read (make things iirc) if you get close with the teacher . i would personally suggest playing it as you want 1st time then doing stuff in new game plus as cleanup. Ok, Persona 5 has started taking my life over....is this what happens? Successfully done the first palace, with a couple of days spare ( lost two days trying to create enough lockpicks, the time consumption is annoying me right now, probably just because i'm not used to it) guess it's something i'll have to work out throughout the game (balancing study, making coffee etc) We shall see. as above dont worry too much about getting everything and there are ways of improving on lock-picking later in the game and i seldom if ever found money to be a real issue so you dont need to open every chest yes it will take over your life it got to the point my youtube etc backlog was so big due to playing this game every hour i wasnt at work pretty much i set up a monitor next to my tv and played stuff on my chromebook while playing just pausing it as needed. i think i did 165 hours or so in ~2 months got to the end of my new game plus file missed 1 chat with anne and a visit to mementos got hacked off and left it there one day i intend to finish that and do a new new game plus and try and platinum it but its too much of a time sync (says someone who redid nier automata after it deleted my 40 hour save file in a week (yes it tells you its going to delete it i just diddnt think it would)
korifugi Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 do a new new game plus and try and platinum This is my aim - I've got all social stats up to 5, and quite a few of the confidants up to rank 10 but missing a few. I've also got about 70% of the bestiary full, too. Not bad for a blind first run.

Not bad for a blind first run. for a blind first run id say thats very good and much better than mine i dont think after nearly 2 playthroughs my beastiary is that good. my biggest issue with the confidants is it sucks saying no to them at level 8/9 and turning them down. my plan to platinum it is finish my 2nd runthrough then just follow a guide lol but as said i dont see it being soon still playing xenoblade chronicles 2 secret of mana is out next thursday but dont see much beyond that this year
korifugi Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 secret of mana is out next thursday Already got my preorder with Argos (they had the best price hands down)
sted Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Already got my preorder with Argos (they had the best price hands down) got it digitally on psn as i wanted the avatars and was about the same price iirc
flyinghaggis Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 (edited) I was kind of excited by the idea of a secret of mana remake but having seen the gameplay footage on IGN it seems a bit low rent and lacking the charm of the original. The 3d models look a bit a awkward and the voice acting is dire. Think I'll probably give it a miss unless the reviews suggest it's better than it looks from the above video. Mewdewgooboofoo Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 this one might be a fun one. i used to play the original game about 3-4 years ago before the game was "officially" released https://robocraftroyale.com/?utm_source=rr_mailer&utm_medium=email#
bald_pig Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 people need to join the discord, nobody fancies playing gta
sted Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 people need to join the discord, nobody fancies playing gta i want to play gta5 heists but im about the only one on xbox1 lol

sted Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 just buy a gaming rig and a copy of GTA, I haven't done the heists either! my laptop has a 1070 in it I just dont want to play on pc as id have to rank up again and too many hackers to be fun
Mewdewgooboofoo Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 my laptop has a 1070 in it I just dont want to play on pc as id have to rank up again and too many hackers to be fun cant you transfer a character from console using the rock-star website
DeGrimmy Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I do enjoy GTA5 on PC and will play it at some point with you guys, I was just busy last night... (And probably will be tonight too!)
sted Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 cant you transfer a character from console using the rock-star website iirc you could transfer once from 360/ps3 to pc/one/ps4 but ive used that to transfer from 360 to one and apparently that ended last march anyway
GuyJD Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 iirc you could transfer once from 360/ps3 to pc/one/ps4 but ive used that to transfer from 360 to one and apparently that ended last march anywayYou can transfer it once to each format, I went from 360 to PC and then from PC to XB1 all 3 are now separate entities but at least I didn't have to level each one up again.
bald_pig Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Can't say I've seen any obvious hacking in gta for a long time, I did profit from the last hacker I saw though! Someone spawned moneybags over me while I was playing, reported it and they told me to keep the money!

Current gen stuff if pretty hacker free though.

sted Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 all but 1 or 2 nodes represents a unique monster (read boss) one of which took at least 10 attempts and was harder than the final boss

Think I'll probably give it a miss unless the reviews suggest it's better than it looks from the above video. ok from the 2-3 hours or so ive played lips dont move in voiced scenes which is really off putting the music i quite like and you can go back to the snes music but ive seen complaints online i actually quite like the art style but ymmv not sure its better but its ok not great though could of done with a few qol updates for stuff like saving/showing if armour in shops is better than what you have etc minor gripes but shouldnt be massive fixes either loading screens really? voice acting isnt as bad as id feared and the scriot has been changed for better or worse the text is im 95% sure different to the original i suspect its more true to the japanese intent so far id say its ok but if you havnt played it on the snes i dont know why you would its a 90s game with all the issues that brings and if you have played it before its 50/50 if you will like it or not id say Edited February 15, 2018 by sted
sted Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 update on secret of mana some of the music is awful (the mushroom village im blanking on the name of right now has gone electric rather than the usual acoustic) and i wonder if this game was playtested at all its crashed about 5 times one of which took the PlayStations os down with it causing the console to do a reboot not just exiting the game at least it autosaves so ive not lost too much progress but tbh ive spent more time still playing xenoblade chronicles 2 still (im about 190 hours in now) just doing side quests/levelling blades its more fun and has better music
failnator Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Just finished playing digimon cyber sleuth. Great fun of a game and can see why it s considered one of the best digimon games. Now weather to buy the new one that is a parallel story.
