mb2k01 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I know that the webpage you linked to has the proper explanation, and even a definition, but Haptic still sounds like a new bleach to me!! Thankfully Chris still works wonders with pricing so I'll be sticking with you! 2
pete Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Cue endless "Bad Touch!" jokes if you mess up an order.
Haptic Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 After seeing the new logo someone referred to me as the 'Fresh Prints of IT' Joe 3
speckytecky Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Sadly in the changeover you seem to have lost that star of Office 365 Migration - the legendary Andy Ratcliffe. Whose the contact for that now please. 1
sonofsanta Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Dropping a hint that obvious about the date of the surprise was a wookie mistake. 2
Haptic Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 Announcing it on a Bank Holiday? Ah why not, it fits the theme. It'll be a welcome break from organising my stamp collection! Joe
IrritableTech Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I'd just turned off prominent haptic. I presume you're not going to be too pushy either? :-)
Haptic Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 Apple Watch? Crikey, first mover. What do you make of it thus far? 1
IrritableTech Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Apple Watch? Crikey, first mover. What do you make of it thus far? A couple of us early adopters have made some comments in the following thread... http://www.edugeek.net/forums/general-chat/152768-apple-watch.html We seem to be in the minority! Love it so far... battery better than expected. An unobtrusive notification device with some nice little features. App support is increasing daily. Was just talking to a colleague who had been looking at a golf GPS range finder watch - thinks he might go for an apple watch now with an app for that. Best of luck with the name change. 1
Haptic Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 Thanks @IrritableTech, it's all gone really well thus far. The watches certainly look the part, they're far more advanced than the Pebble I bought a year or so ago! Joe
jamin100 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 eh what has andy gone? Yup - In the middle of our migration too :/
speckytecky Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Andy Ratcliffe is in my opinion a diamond geezer. No idea how we would have achieved our migration without him. Hopefully Haptic have someone on their team capable of offering the same level of service and support? Yup - In the middle of our migration too :/
Haptic Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 We certainly do, fear ye not. He's a great guy and you're not alone in your commendations.
plexer Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 @Haptic I assume you've changed signage on the front of your unit but when are you going to do the back? I assume it's the back I saw from the A14 today Ben 1
comrade Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Nice new name, you always manage to find the batteries I want! 1

I assume it's the back I saw from the A14 today Ben Hi Ben That was our old site you passed, oddly enough the new occupiers haven't been too fussed with taking our old sign down! Good spot though, what brought you to the 'Shire? Joe
X-13 Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 what brought you to the 'Shire? He's sending the Hobbits to Mordor.

Haptic Posted July 21, 2015 Author Posted July 21, 2015 Well if you slept through most of Northamptonshire you may not have missed much! Joe
