ChrisH Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 This started yesterday when it all the servers were just on a blue screen with a moveable cursor. They are having trouble starting up and when I get them started up they are very hard to use with the start menu crashing etc. I have found DNS errors 4000 and 4014 The DNS server was unable to initialize Active Directory security interfaces. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly and restart the DNS server. The event data contains the error I dont like some of the solutions mentioned for this!!!!! I managed to get things up and running yesterday but had some strange erros sometimes likwe it said passwords were incorrect even though they wasnt. Ideas???

Michael Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 It does seem odd that suddenly all servers are behaving this way. Maybe a time to get out those backup tapes and restore to a time everything was working correctly! Please keep us all posted on your progress.
